It’s where the hurting find renewal and lives are changed . Freedom House Oakland is a 501(c)(3) community outreach born out of TFH Oakland, serving families in Oakland with practical help and real hope. With your generosity, we get to serve the families of Oakland.
Our mission is simple: to bring hope, healing, and restoration to Oakland and beyond.
The CareKit Outreach Program
An initiative designed to restore dignity and provide practical support to our unhoused neighbors in Oakland. Each CareKit is thoughtfully packed with everyday essentials, snacks, water, and handwritten notes of encouragement — because every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.
The Family Fund
For families with a child in the NICU. We show up with hands-on care and take the weight off: meals, parking, gas, and the bills that don’t stop, so parents can be fully present for their baby in the season that matters most. $500 takes care of a family for a month.
